With this Veyron “Black Bess” Bugatti has given life back to the Legend Type 18, the first ever street legal supercar, to celebrate it, there is not better than the 16.4 as it is one of the fastest cars on road today, the legend Type 18 was one of the most attractive cars when first lunched because of it high tech at that era, it has a 4 cylinder with 5 litre engine, that gave her a 100bhp and top speed of 160mph which was like a ghost car at that time as people were not used to that level of performance, it was named after the English racehorse “Black Bess”.

Today, they have transmitted the same feelings to this modern era with the Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse, the famous car with the W16 engine 8 litre delivering 1200bhp with a 1500Nm at 3000 and 5000rpm, the 0 to 100 km/h takes 2.6 seconds to be reached and the top speed is 408.84 with roof down, and like the Type 18, the Vitesse is the fastest production car today

The Black Bess’s body is made of carbon fiber and painted in black same as the Type 18 with gold colored accents that makes her recognized from the first look

Bugatti was very careful when they built the interior of the “Black Bess” they have chosen the finest leather, named, the “Havanna” and distinctive colors, as this model is a celebration for the Type 18, they draw this legend in the interior of the car. And to protect the images, a special new ink and a new impregnation process have been developed; the driver can also find gold inside the vehicle.
